Sydney Vegan Bake Sale June 2010

Yesterday rain and thunderstorms were forecast but luckily for us the rain held off and we were able to have our bake sale with no problems!

The markets were really quiet due to the weather and the new council policies but we had plenty of people drop by to make a purchase and it was great to see our regular crowd plus meet some new customers too!

We raised $994.45 for A Poultry Place in Canberra! Thank you to everyone who helped out and made a purchase, we couldn't do it with out you!

And now, the food!

In the gluten free section we had:

Cupcakes

Duck-shaped gingerbread biscuits


Choc walnut sultana fudge

Coconut fudge


The rest of the table was covered with:

Muffins

Savoury herb scones

Banana bread, cinnamon scrolls, mini jam donuts

Lemon pineapple bars and Chocolate mint whoopie pies


Tomato onion foaccia

Those Jam donuts really hit the spot!
I always really like the coconut fudge but I wish i tried the lemon/pineapple bar
So happy you raised lots of money for A Poultry Place :)

We started by participating in the first Worldwide Vegan Bake Sale and then we realised what a great opportunity it is and have decided to continue our bake sales on a regular basis.
